Salesianum Fundraiser (Annual Event)

Salesianum School is a private college preparatory school for boys in Wilmington, DE. They have a fundraising event which is known as the “For The Boys” event each year to assist underprivileged students with tuition cost to attend the school. In the past this event was held in the school gymnasium but in 2014 the administrators decided to convene the event offsite for the first time. They decided to hold their event at the Delaware Art Museum in March of 2014 and made preparations for attendance of 350 people.

In 2015 they decided to change the venue once again and decided upon The Vicmead Hunt Club in Centerville, DE which was another first for them.

Client Needs

Salesianum School needed a partner who could assist them with audio, video, lighting and staging for special fundraising events held in 2014 at the Delaware Art Museum and again in 2015 in a tent at the Vicmead Hunt Club in Centerville, Delaware.

The IMS Solution

For 2014 IMS suggested video mapping around the corners of the back of the Delaware Art Museum and projected on front wall as well. This was done so that attendees could see the video and the presenters regardless of where they were within the Art Museum. IMS also suggested placement of speakers throughout the venue so that everyone could hear the remarks of the presenters and the video and assisted in the handling of the silent auction.
For 2015 IMS worked closely with the Salesianum event team and the tent company as well as the caterer to support the event for lighting throughout the tent including ceiling using the school colors. IMS also provided screens to show the video and audio support for full band as well as the presentations. IMS prepared several iterations of event staging designs and pricing for Salesianum School. IMS also set up several monitors throughout the venue to show support for the sponsors of the events.
